2020 Articling Students

CLG is currently offering 2 articling student positions for the 2020/21 year.  CLG seeks candidates who are committed to improving access to justice for marginalized people and the Indigenous community. CLG articling students work as a team under the supervision of CLG lawyers to provide brief services & full representation on legal issues related to domestic violence, homelessness, criminal justice, older adult needs, social benefits and immigration.

2020 Indigenous Articling Student

CLG is currently offering 1 articling student position for the 2020/21 year. This position is part of CLG’s sahwoo mohkaak tsi ma taas program (Blackfoot for: “Before Being Judged”) and works with the program lawyer and Indigenous liaison to promote Indigenous access to justice. This position also works with other CLG lawyers and articling students to provide brief services & full representation on legal issues related to domestic violence, homelessness, criminal justice, older adult needs, social benefits and immigration. Applicants should be interested in issues facing Indigenous people in the justice system with a vision to serve Indigenous peoples and communities upon completion of their articles.
