At Home with Law

The At Home With Law Project is a program that provides wholistic tenancy education to diverse members of the community through a series of education workshops and individual coaching. As a graduate of the At Home with Law Project participants can become Peer Educator’s to their local neighbors and greater community.  This course teaches the “ins and outs” of tenancy in Alberta and gives participants the skills to communicate with their landlord and neighbors.

Introduction to Human Rights

This free interactive lunch & learn session welcomes all CLG staff and the staff of our partner agencies.  It will support you to better assist clients who present with human rights issues.  It will cover: 

•    What discrimination is
•    How the human rights process works
•    Where clients can get legal help with human rights issues

Led by Jess Hadley (lawyer, Forte Law) and Katie Ross (law student, U of C) from the Pro Bono Students Canada Human Rights Project.
