AISH is financial assistance from the Alberta government for people who are 18 years or older and who have a permanent disability that, for the most part, limits their ability to earn a living.
If you applied for and were denied AISH benefits, we may be able to help you with your appeal. We may be able to obtain medical documents from your doctor and even attend your appeal hearing with you in some cases. Our specialized team can help you understand how AISH works and what options are available to move forward.
SBAP can help support and guide you in dealing with the following social benefit programs:
Adult/Child Health Benefit
Income Support (Alberta Works)
Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH)
