Homeless Outreach

The Homeless Outreach Program (HOP) provides legal support, advocacy, resource navigation, and outreach services to Albertans. HOP offers legal support on landlord/tenant issues, as well as criminal matters. Additionally, HOP collaborates with organizations to provide outreach support such as legal advice or ID clinics.

What types of matters can we help with?

  • Criminal
  • Quasi-criminal
  • Landlord/Tenant
    • Landlord is alleging a substantial breach that is not related to rent
    • Risk of eviction or are facing eviction
  • ID Clinics: provides statutory declaration of identification cards that can be used as a form of identification for individuals who do not have government issued identification. Additionally, this document can be used towards obtaining government-issued identification. Please note, this is not government issued identification and may not be accepted as a form of identification at some agencies or applications.
    • Upcoming ID Clinics
