Volunteer at the 2019 Advice-A-Thon!

Welcome to Advice – A – Thon 2019!

This year’s event is an open-air public legal advice clinic located at City Hall on Saturday, September 28th. AAT will provide those requiring legal advice an opportunity to sit one on one with a volunteer lawyer.

Each person in attendance will receive a free 30-minute appointment with a volunteer lawyer. We are working to recruit lawyers in the following specialties: Family, Immigration, Landlord & Tenant, Criminal, Wills and Estates, and Civil law.

Think you need to be a lawyer to help out at CLG’s Advice-A-Thon? Think again!

We are in need of event volunteers of all kinds! We encourage all volunteers to fund raise leading up to the event, and we have fabulous prizes for top individuals! For more information, please contact Kim Feodoroff or Heidi J. T. Exner.

Don’t have time to volunteer at the event? No problem!! You can still sign up to join in on the FUNdraising as an individual or a team!

We NEED your help with fundraising!  Prior to the event, participating individual or teams of lawyers are asked to raise a minimum of $500 through pledges as donations to support CLG. And at the event, all you have to do is to volunteer one hour of your time providing legal advice at booths in City Hall. Prizes and recognition await for our top fundraisers! This event is a fun and easy way to give back to the community while providing your expertise to those in need. CLG is more than happy to help you set up your fundraising page.

To our administrative volunteers, we would love for you to fund raise as well, but what we really need from you is to donate your time to fill various critical roles on the day of the event. Our main objective is to serve the public, spread awareness of our volunteer’s efforts to increase access to justice and to raise $20,000 or more, for our vital programs. Through your passion and support, we will not only achieve our goals but also exceed them!
