2019 Summer Students

Two summer law student positions are available for 2019 for a 16 week period beginning in May. CLG seeks candidates who are committed to improving access to justice, particularly for the Indigenous community. Applicants should demonstrate an ability to work in a team atmosphere as well as independently and should be interested in issues of poverty and marginalization. CLG summer law students perform legal work supervised by program lawyers including research, written & oral advocacy, court/tribunal representation, and conducting summary legal clinics. Students also provide administrative/other support to CLG programs such as assisting with identification document clinics and client intake. Deadline to Apply is noon February 19.
