Empowering Lives Through Law

Calgary Legal Guidance provides legal assistance and information to economically and socially disadvantaged persons who would not otherwise have access to legal advice and representation. We can help with a wide range of legal issues including but not limited to:

  • Family issues such as separation/divorce, custody and access, and child support
  • Protection orders such as Restraining Orders and Emergency Protection Orders
  • Criminal issues such as theft, mischief, fraud, and non-domestic assault
  • Civil issues such as small claims, debt, landlord/tenant, and employment issues
  • Provision of non-government identification and assistance with replacement of lost ID
  • Social benefit issues such as Alberta Works, AISH and Canada Pension Plan benefits
  • Immigration issues such as sponsorships, work permits, PRRA and H&C applications
